I am delighted to be offering a 6 week course with the meditative practice of iRest Yoga Nidra:

The Heart of iRest

In this six week course we will be exploring aspects of the practice which include:

  • A place within to feel completely at ease
  • What do we really wish for ourselves and our life
  • Loving Kindness
  • Feeling Compassion
  • Meeting and being with emotions (and exploring opposites of feelings)
  • The Spacious Ease of Being

This course includes:

  • Each week a short discussion on aspects of the iRest practice.
  • Easeful 1¼ hour sessions.
  • A long, restful Yoga Nidra every week.
  • Time for reflections and questions.
  • Recordings of zoom sessions and the audio (mp3) of the Yoga Nidra for download.

What is iRest Yoga Nidra?

iRest Yoga Nidra is an evidence based transformative practice of deep relaxation and meditative inquiry that releases negative emotions and thought patterns, calms the nervous system, and develops an inner sanctuary of well-being and equanimity that underlies all circumstance you may encounter in your life.

Yoga Nidra itself is an ancient practice spanning thousands of years, in which we may enter profound states of relaxation yet we remain awake and present to each moment. iRest is a more contemporary teaching of Yoga Nidra.

This course is suitable for all levels from beginners to people who have more experience with meditation and Yoga.
